Happy Plastic Free July! Plastic Free July is a month-long global challenge to reduce and refuse single-use plastic! Sign up for Plastic Free July and take the pledge to reduce single-use plastic here. Throughout the month, give up some type of single-use plastic like water bottles or try to get rid of all single-use plastics in a certain area of your home like the laundry room. We are here to support your journey! Come down to the Kōkua General Store to learn about single-use plastic alternatives, bring in reusables to refill on bath body & cleaning and/or get low-waste lifestyle products to support your transition away from single-use plastic.
Plastic Free July Event: Microplastic Art Workshop! On Saturday July 9, our friends from Sustainable Coastline Hawaiʻi will be back celebrating Plastic Free July with us by hosting another microplastic art workshop. Come down to the Kōkua General Store (66-249 Kamehameha Hwy in Haleʻiwa Town) between 11:30am-2:30pm to create a unique piece of art, chat with us on solutions to plastic pollution and celebrate Plastic Free July!
