Ke Kani O Ke Kai Waikiki Aquarium
Each summer, the Waikiki Aquarium opens up for evening concerts under the stars, allowing visitors a unique window into the aquatic world at night. Concerts take place every other Thursday and include musical performances by local bands, along with hula performances from local halau.
Art Explorium
Visit the Art Explorium for daily events and workshops, open seven days a week! You can visit during Open Studio hours for just $5 to access their inventory of art supplies. Weekend workshops are organized by theme, including magnet making, sculpting, bookmaking and more! Join us on Saturday, July 14th as we partner with the Explorium for a free, “upcycled” activity with the Plastic Free Hawai’i program.
Waimea Valley
Take a drive to scenic Waimea Valley and take advantage of their cultural and botanical programming and activities. Featuring beautiful nature walks, a waterfall, and excellent botanical experts, Waimea Valley is a unique oasis of preserved land. This summer, Waimea Valley will host their Summer Concert Series Ho’i Hou Mai I Waimea with local musicians and hālau performances.
